Iron Maiden is considered to be one of the pioneers of heavy metal music. Since forming as a band on Christmas Day of 1975, Iron Maiden has released 15 studio albums, including The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind and No Prayer for the Dying, and their music has won them a variety of music awards including a 2011 Grammy Award for best metal performance. Iron Maiden is a legendary band that is considered to be one of the best heavy metal bands of all time.
